ALL BODYWORK IS GENERALLY 100/HR

What to expect: If you are dealing with chronic/long-term pain, we will need to do a full body evaluation to identify postural abnormalities in order to understand which muscles need to be released/stretched versus strengthened. Once the muscles have been identified, Dr. Ham then wrks to release what is tight or in adaptively shortened positions followed by osteopathic techniques to realign the ileum, sacrum (pelvis) and the spine in its entirety. In later sessions we would begin assigning strengthening exercises to restore optimal function of muscles in a weak and/or stretched state. To do a thorough job and get you out of pain, Dr. ham recommends a 90 min session.

If you are just looking for some bodywork in order to release excessive tension, we can do that and would likely only need an hour. On the other hand, alignment with body work (a 90 min session) is far more effective in creating lasting results!

NUTRITION AND LIFESTYLE CONSULTATION

The complexities of inflammation and pain often go far beyond treatment that only addresses musculoskeletal dysfunction. If we do not look into other aspects of our biology which may be contributing to our dysfunction we may be missing a significant part of the problem.

The five pillars of health—nutrition, exercise, water, sleep, and strong relationships—form the foundation of well-being. Even small changes in these areas can yield significant improvements in energy, mobility, and overall health.

This session provides guidance on generalized nutrition to reduce systemic inflammation as well nutritional considerations to support higher levels of activity and function. Simple and efficient methods are also learned for attaining long-term consistent and progressive changes in order to create significant shifts in ones complete health.
